The Spiritual Formation Ministry Team supports the mission statement of Marvin United Methodist Church, which is "To receive, live, and share the life of Christ".
 
Specifically, the Spiritual Formation Ministry purpose is "to encourage a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, Bible study, self-spiritual identification and group enrichment of Christ's people."
