Music program

The backbone of Marvin's traditional music program is the 65-member Chancel Choir, which provides music leadership for the 11 o'clock sanctuary service each Sunday morning, as well as for a variety of special services throughout the year. The choir also performs many great choral masterworks at festival seasons and other times, often accompanied by orchestra and featuring outstanding soloists.

Worship in Herd Auditorium has its own worship team made up of instrumentalists and vocalists. The group, led by Rev. Paul Bolding,  leads worship every Sunday in Herd Auditorium. Auditions are required.

The Alleluia Singers (senior adults) provide music leadership once a month for the 8:30 sanctuary service. They have opportunities to perform for special services and community service.

The Robinson Handbell Choir (adults) is an active musical group which provides music for worship throughout the year. They also ring in seasonal concerts and community events.

Music for children and youth

Three children's choirs enable training for our youngest musicians. The Wesley Choir serves third through fifth grades; the Carol Choir ministers to grades one and two; and the Cherub Choir is for children ages 4, 5 and kindergarten. These groups aim to teach children the joy and love of making music as a team effort while learning music fundamentals.

Children have an opportunity to further increase and use their music skills through handbells. Wesley Bells is for children in grades four and five.
