
Marvin's Mature Adult Ministry offers fellowship and activities for Marvin members and friends who are 55 years old or better, including many opportunities for social activities, service, outreach and travel.
This support team is for everyone who has loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia. They meet at 2 p.m. the second Sunday of each month in the Adult Lounge. For more information contact Jean Mueller (903.534.1725) or Rev. Allison Thompson (903.592.7396).
All Marvin members and friends 55-plus are invited to the monthly Grown-ups meeting on each third Thursday. Come to Pirtle Hall at 11:30 a.m. for a wonderful meal and fantastic programs.
The cost for the meal is $7 per person, and reservations are due in the Welcome Center (903.592.7396 or e-mail) by the Tuesday before the dinner.
The Grown-ups will present a big band standards “Music of Your Life” concert with Paul and Luke at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19, in Herd Auditorium. A delicious lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. in Pirtle Hall for you and your friends. Make lunch reservations in the Welcome Center.
